Belstead Brook - Kathy PollardKathy Pollard has been the County Councillor for Belstead Brook since 1993. Kathy is dedicated to representing local people. She is a former Chairman of Suffolk County Council and was a Cabinet Member from 2000-2005. Kathy held portfolios for Libraries and Heritage, e-government and rural affairs, and is currently the Lib Dem and Independent group leader on Suffolk County Council. Kathy has organised funding to tackle fly-tipping and abandoned cars in Belstead Brook Park. She has successfully fought for improvements to public services in Belstead Brook and across South Suffolk, ranging from road safety and health, to reversing government police cuts.
Hadleigh - David GrutchfieldDavid Grutchfield has represented Hadleigh since 1986, first at Town, then District and County level. David has been a dedicated campaigner for Hadleigh residents on a whole range of issues, including getting more police on the streets, keeping free parking, replacing the swimming pool, and getting more community facilities.
Peninsula - Dave WoodDave Wood has been County Councillor for the Peninsula since 1999. As Vice-Chair of Suffolk Police Authority, Dave has been fighting against the Home-Office proposed merger of Suffolk Police with Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. At the Executive meeting on Suffolk County Council, Dave and Kathy opposed the development of 325 houses at HMS Ganges. They asked for more investment form the developers in road improvements and more community facilities. Dave opposed the Bathside Bay development because of its negative environmental impact on the area. He is also Chairman of the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths project.
