Only Tom can beat the Tories here!

Tom out campaigning

After last years District elections only 7 of the 32 seats on Babergh Council ( which has the same boundaries as the South Suffolk  constituency) were Conservative. They lost 8 seats to a combination of Lib Dems, Greens and Independents. Labour lost one of its too seats

There is a widely held belief that this part of the world is always going to elect a Tory but last years election showed there is an anti Tory majority locally which needs to be mobilised.

It wouldn't surprise you that we believe the Liberal Democrats are best placed to make that challenge

We have a great candidate in Tom Bartleet, a campaign that started after Christmas and a growing band of committed volunteers.

What, however gives us greater confidence is that the other main anti Tory parties have been clear South Suffolk is not a priority

We don't normally post links to our opponent sites but if you put want to volunteer for Labour they send you elsewhere I'm volunteering with Labour  whilst the local Greens website focusses its attention on the national target of Waveney Facebook

So, if like us you want the Tories out, to send a message that their performance and behaviour has been unacceptable and yet supported by our local MP then here in South Suffolk please support Tom Bartleet as your next MP.
