There are less than four weeks to go until Polling Day, David.

On 7 May, there are elections for councils and mayors in many parts of England - plus elections for the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Senedd.

It’s crucial we elect Liberal Democrats across the country to give people the caring and hardworking local representation they deserve.

But we need your help to do it!

You must be registered in order to vote - don’t miss your chance to have your voice heard!

Deadline to register: 11:59pm, Monday 20 April.

We recommend voting by post as it’s easy and efficient. You can also apply for a postal-proxy where someone casts your vote by post on your behalf.

You can also appoint someone to cast your vote at a polling station on your behalf.

🪪 Voter ID

If you’re voting in person, you must bring a photographic ID or you could be turned away at the polling station.

If you don’t have an ID, you need to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate to use instead.
