If you want Green vote Orange

Rubbish for re-cycling

If you are one of the 70%+ people who believe that man-made actions are causing global warming and that we should aim to be carbon neutral by 2050 the elections on 7 May mean you only have one option to take if you want tangible action to be taken to achieve that goal.

Liberal Democrat-led councils are consistently among the top performers in recycling rates in England. The latest data indicates that nine of the top ten councils for recycling are led by the Liberal Democrats. There are no Green Party led councils in the Top 20 and in Suffolk Mid-Suffolk Council run by the Green Party ranks at number 197 out of 333 UK councils ( See REVEALED: The UK councils with the highest and lowest recycling rates  | Hub-4   for more details.)

And it is not just in local government that we are making a difference  Following a Private Member’s Bill in Parliament earlier this year – known as the Sunshine Bill - the Government finally agreed that that all new homes will now include renewable energy generation technology as standard.

It is easy to virtue signal about doing the right thing for the environment and much harder to put in place tangible actions and policies to make things happen.

The Liberal Democrats have a proven track record of delivery . Vote for us on 7 May!
