Reforms' problem with women

Leading Reform county councillor, Christopher Hudson, has  been sensationally sacked from his cabinet position after posting a highly sexualised AI image on social media of his colleague, Jane Mummery.

The BBC reports the post"

included an image which showed fellow Reform councillor June Mummery in a tight, sequined bra with the slogan "I saved the Suffolk school nurses!".

Hudson was removed from his cabinet position but defended the post, telling the BBC he intended for it to come across in a "girl power way" and had sent a copy of it to Mummery, who was "definitely on board" with it.

This comes a day after the Equality & Human Right Rights Commission wrote to Nigel Farage expressing concern over misogynistic views in the party. Reform MP, Sarah Pochin, complained on ITV that the party was “chauvinistic” and riven with “alpha male sh*t”. This, no doubt, helps explain why there are so few women councillors in Suffolk Reform (5 out of 41).

Mr Hudson remains a Reform councillor
